Size Exchange Policy

At Dirndl Delights, we know the right fit matters for traditional Dirndl and Oktoberfest attire. If your order doesn't fit, we're happy to offer a size exchange under the terms below.

Eligibility For Size Exchange

To qualify for a size exchange, the following conditions must be met:

Timeline

Size exchanges are available within 14 business days of receiving your order. However, you must contact our support team within 3 business days of delivery to initiate the exchange request.

Product Condition

The item must be in its original, unworn condition. Specifically:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and free of any odors (including perfume, deodorant, or smoke).
  • All original tags, labels, and stickers must remain attached and intact.
  • The item must be in its original packaging, including any garment bags, boxes, or protective wrapping.
  • Items that show signs of wear, alteration, washing, or damage will not be accepted for exchange.

Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are excluded from size exchanges:

How to Request a Size Exchange

To qualify for a size exchange, the following conditions must be met:

Step 1

Contact Our Support Team

Send an email to support@dirndldelights.com within 3 business days of receiving your order. Please include the following details:

  • Your order number
  • The product name and current size received
  • The new size you would like
  • The reason for the size exchange (e.g., too tight, too loose, length issue)

Step 2

Receive Confirmation & Exchange Form

Our support team will review your request and respond with an acknowledgment within 1 - 2 business days. Once approved, we will share:

  • A Size Exchange Form to be filled out and included inside the parcel
  • The US warehouse return address where the item should be shipped

Step 3

Ship the Item to Our Warehouse

Pack the item securely in its original packaging along with the completed Size Exchange Form. The form should clearly state the item(s) being exchanged and the desired replacement size.

Important: The customer shall bear all costs associated with returning the item to our warehouse. We recommend a tracked and insured shipping service, as Dirndl Delights cannot accept liability for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

Step 4

Inspection & Processing

Once we receive the parcel at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets all eligibility conditions. Inspection is typically completed within 1 - 2 business days of receipt.

Step 5

Replacement Item Shipped

After the item passes inspection, the replacement item in your requested size will be dispatched the next business day.

  • Domestic orders: The replacement item will be shipped to you free of charge.
  • International orders: A flat fee of $19 USD applies to shipping the replacement item. Our support team will share payment of details before dispatch.

What if Your Desired Size is Unavailable?

If the size you requested is out of stock at the time of processing, our support team will notify you promptly. You will then have the following options:

Option A

Select a different item of equal value from our store as your exchange.

Option B

Choose a different size if available for the same product.

Items Rejected During Inspection

If an item does not pass our inspection (e.g., tags removed, signs of wear, missing original packaging), we will notify you via email. The item will be shipped back to you at your expense, and no exchange will be processed.

  • Partial refunds may be offered at our discretion for items rejected due to minor issues; the amount will be communicated by email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I exchange for a completely different product?

Size exchanges are intended for the same product in a different size. However, if your requested size is unavailable, you may select a different item of equal value.

Can I request a size exchange more than once for the same order?

Each item is eligible for one size exchange only.

How long does the entire exchange process take?

From the time you ship the item back to us, the typical turnaround is 5 - 10 business days (including transit, inspection, and dispatch of the replacement).

Do I need to pay for the replacement item?

No. The replacement item itself is free. You are only responsible for shipping the original item back to us, and international customers pay a $19 USD reshipping fee.

What if I received a defective or incorrect item?

If you received the wrong or defective product, please contact us immediately at support@dirndldelights.com. Defective or incorrect orders are handled separately from size exchanges.

Important: Order modifications (size, color, or address changes) can only be made before the order has been processed. Please reach out as early as possible.
